1Field of the InventionThe present invention relates to systems and methods for recording, verifying, and querying the legal and economic state of a patent over its lifecycle, including tracking of ownership, licensing, reductions-to-practice, royalty obligations, and provenance, by means of a cryptographically-anchored data structure whose identity is derived from a deterministic spectral-gradient function of the patent's complete provenance state at the moment of grant.2BackgroundExisting systems for managing patent portfolios, licensing, and royalty reconciliation rely on centralized databases maintained by private parties (portfolio management platforms), statutory records maintained by patent offices (INPI, USPTO, EPO, etc.), or general-purpose contract management tools. None of these provide a mathematically verifiable, distributed, and composable record of a patent's full lifecycle state that is simultaneously: (a) cryptographically tamper-evident, (b) queryable across patents without compromising confidentiality, (c) legally legible to non-technical parties, and (d) integrated with existing patent-office-issued artifacts as the source of truth for state transitions.Prior systems attempting such integration have taken the form of blockchain-based smart contracts, which fail to provide the necessary legibility and refereeing layer for human legal interpretation of intent, and which furthermore commit to an execution model at write-time that precludes the draft-and-revise phase that real patent prosecution requires.3Summary of the InventionThe present invention provides a system, hereafter referred to as the Topology-Authed Declarative Commitment (TADC) system, comprising:
