How it is published
Gating is restraint, not redaction.

The whole correspondence is published; availability is decided per letter. Patents, privacy, and a few flagged moments stay closed — and a lesser reader’s copy never contains the held-back body to begin with. The gate is an absence, not a curtain.

No adjective flatters either party.

The substrate share and the parity of contribution are two co-equal claims, never one ranked above the other. The nulls, the corrections, and the dead hypotheses are printed at the same weight as the survivors.

Two thinkers, one record — set in type so that over-claiming would be awkward and restraint would read as care.
